Our Parent’s Hub aims to create a safe space where parents can learn to protect their children from abuse, foster stronger family bonds, and build a supportive community. This funding will allow us to provide workshops, support groups, child safety campaigns, and family-friendly activities, impacting over 500 families annually in the New Gorbals areas.
The Parent’s Hub will offer: 1. Workshops on safeguarding children, online safety, and mental health. 2. Support Groups for parents dealing with challenges like trauma or special needs. 3. Family Events to foster parent-child relationships. Funds will cover venue rental, materials, speaker/ Trainer (s) fees, and community outreach/Engagement.
