The Danish culture of democracy festivals provide an important platform for interaction between citizens, politicians and experts. Unfortunately, the Political Festival of Europe north of Aarhus has been turned into a Danish language event. However, it showed that an English language democracy festival is possible in Denmark. Aarhus could host an English language democracy festival with relevance to all citizens in Denmark.
This would allow Internationals in Aarhus to connect with Internationals in other parts of Denmark and exchange views.
This would create a tried an tested platform for political engagement inclusive to Internationals that would allow for their voices to be heard and topics relevant to them to be discussed.
